Chapter 2 Sophies Weird Signs

In the next morning; in the mushroom kingdom in Peach's Castle, Sonic's team and Sophie's team came to the castle to spend the night for Halloween night where they will be giving out candy to the little kids. Sophie and the others fixed up the castle like a haunted house but castle.

"Thank you so much for coming over to help me with the decorations team it's a big help." Said Peach with a smile.

"No problem princess, it's all in a day's work." Said Sonic with a grin.

"Uh any one…a little help." Mumbled Marietta tied up with ribbons by Marianne.

"And there…well this is a present for Sophie." Said Marianne with an evil grin.

"Marianne! Don't tie up my sister like that! She's not a box!" yelled Lester getting into Marianne's face.

"Well to me she is and so this is Sophie's present. So cool it hippy before your next." Said Marianne not amused.

"I like to see you try to make me as a gift." Snapped Lester with a grin folding his arms.

"Now, now you two we don't want to start mess again like last time." Said Brandon getting between Lester and Marianne.

"Yeah you two, Brandon is right. And Marianne, that's really nice of you to do that but give me a real gift not Marietta tied with a bunch of ribbons…" said Sophie rubbing her head.

"Ugh…fine I'll untie her." Said Marianne bumping into Lester on purpose as she walked by him.

"Thank you…" said Lester.

While Marianne untied Marietta, Brandon and Sophie were putting up the skeletons on the wall along with Sonar.

"Hey Sophie. Are you and Brandon thinking about having kids yet?" asked Sonar.

"Yeah we are but not yet, we're going to wait for the right moment to you know," Said Sophie blushing a little.

"Cool. Sonic and I are doing the same thing and whenever our kids turn five we can do a play date with each other. Well our kids," Said Sonar with a smile.

"Awesome! Can't wait." Said Sophie with a smile.

When Sonar looked away to finish her job; Sophie's arm began to make visible scars which started to spread randomly. She looked at her arm and panicked as she tried to cover it up from Sonar and everyone else. Then Brandon notice that her arm was drooling blood and twitching. At first he thought it was a Halloween trick she's came up with, but he decided to check up on her.

"Sophie? Why is your arm dripping blood?" asked Brandon walking next to her.

"Oh uh nothing! Nothing…"said Sophie really quick.

Brandon folded his arms with disbelief.

"Sophie…tell me," said Brandon with a worried look.

Sophie finally gave in and began to cry because of her pain is so insane and hard to ignore. She showed him her arm covered in pure blood as Brandon's face went pale.

"Guys!!!!" yelled Brandon turning to everyone.

When everyone turned to Brandon, Sophie's eyes turned red and her teeth got long and sharp. Quick as Sonic she disappeared and reappeared next to Lester with an evil look.

"Sophie? Are you ok?" asked Lester a little worried.

Sophie suddenly rammed into Lester in the chest making him hitting the wall and grabbed his neck choking him to death.

"Where are the villains?!?! Where are they?!?!" yelled Sophie her voice sounding like a demon.

Everyone was in shock on what's happening and Marietta was trying to stop them. Bad idea.

"Sophie!!! Stop!!! Please! What are you doing to Lester!?" yelled Marietta walking closer to Sophie.

Then Sophie grabbed her neck and threw her to the wall making the wall crack in two because of the impact Sophie did on Marietta.

"Marietta!!" yelled Martha running over to Marietta.

"Grrrrraaahhh!!!" yelled Sophie in a demon voice as she squeezed him even harder.

Lester now couldn't breathe at all; he was running out of air. Everyone else was running out of opinions.

"Sophie! Snap out of it! What are you doing to Lester? He's your friend! He didn't do anything to you!" said Brandon reasoning her.

Suddenly Sophie stopped choking Lester and let him go. Lester fell to the floor his neck deeply slashed and coughing like he was vomiting. Sophie finally went back to normal and somehow remembered what happened and she gasped in terror.

"*gasp* L-Lester…I'm…so very sorry I didn't mean to do it…I'm sorry." Said Sophie very upset.

Maria ran to Lester side and checked up on him.

"Whoa, Lester is really in bad shape I don't think he can talk for a while." Said Maria with a worried look.

"I'm sorry Lester! I'm really sorry I don't know what came over me…" said Sophie looking at her arms.

"It's ok Sophie…we know it's not you doing this," Said Sonic.

"How can you be so sure?? She threw Marietta across the living room and almost breaking the wall completely," said Knuckles folding his arms.

"That maybe so Knuckles but Sophie is not that strong. She is strong but not as strong as the demon itself," Said Maria thinking. "Sophie has something inside of her but I'm not sure how the villains gave it to her when we defeated the villains that day."

"Impossible Maria! How can a demon be inside Sophie? It's only to be found in a human body," said Mario folding his arms.

"We'll just have to find out after I take care of Lester and Marietta." Said Maria helping Lester up.

Lester looked at Sophie in fright; even though he couldn't talk he couldn't believe that he was almost choked to death. It really got him scared, more scared than any monsters he has seen in his life. Martha picked up Marietta and followed Lester and Maria. Then Sophie fell to the floor and burst into tears. Knowing that she almost killed her beloved friend that was with her all the way. Brandon comforts her as she cried deeply on Brandon's shoulder.

"What was that?" asked Luigi in shock.

"I'm not sure Luigi…whatever that was…I hope it doesn't reappear into Sophie's body again." said Wind.

"Let's hope and pray for the best," Said Silvia a little sad. "And pray for Lester."
Sophie kept on crying as she held Brandon really tight in his arms. Brandon did the same and rubbed her back.

"Shh it's ok Sophie, you didn't mean too. As long as no one was killed your fine," Said Brandon.

"I almost killed Lester for no reason…I'm a horrible person," said Sophie still crying.

"You're not a horrible person Sophie; you're a very wonderful and amazing dinosaur. That's the reason why I married you, your sweet, kind, caring and love me and treat me how your suppose to treat your family," said Brandon and kissed her.
Surprised from the kiss Brandon had given her, she kissed back and continued kissing. After 30 seconds of kissing, Brandon stopped and looked into Sophie's deep dark brown watery eyes as he wiped them off with his hands.

"I love you Sophie," Said Brandon rubbing her check.

She smiled a little to show that he was right.

"I love you too Brandon, promise me that you won't leave me when I go evil again," said Sophie holding him.

"I promise I won't leave you even if you turned evil. I will never leave you." Said Brandon.

She smiled again feeling relived and loved. Sophie hugged him back and Brandon did the same by adding in a kiss on her cheek. Mean while in the middle of the day close to being in the evening time, everyone didn't forget what happened earlier this passed morning. While everyone was still finishing the finally touches to the castle, Lester laid on the couch resting his neck from this morning, then Marianne walked next to Lester with an evil grin.

"Hey Hippy! I'm glad that your neck is all clawed up because you won't say any cold words to me." Said Marianne laughing.

Lester ignored Marianne and continued what he was doing.

"I know you hear me hippy! I know you want to say something. Oh wait, you can't!" said Marianne teasing him even more.

Then Lester took out a drying board and a marker and started writing on the drying board. After he finished writing, he gave it to Marianne to read it. Marianne took it and read it.

"Marianne, if you got the intelligents like Maria, you wouldn't be this stupid to bother me right now." Read Marianne with a frown. "Dude! If you haven't gotten clawed up by Sophie, then you would be talking right now instead of writing on this thing!"

Marianne threw the drying board on Lester's lap and put her hands on her hips. Lester didn't look to happy at this point.

"Marianne just leave Lester alone, you know he can't talk," Said Marietta standing up from the table.

"At least I can tell him more cold words I can get out of my throat," snapped Marianne walking away.

"If he had the strength to kick your butt you would regret what you have just said right now," Snapped Brandon.

"Ooooooooohh…" said everyone looking at Marianne.
Marianne stopped and looked back at Brandon in rage.

"Brandon please…calm yourself," Said Sophie trying to reason with him.

"What did you say punk?!" yelled Marianne walking up to Brandon.

"You heard me. I don't have to repeat myself to you," snapped Brandon backing up a little.

Marianne grabbed Brandon's shirt and looked at his dark brown eyes with an angry look. Brandon stayed cool and fearless.

"You look here punk! Because obviously you don't know me enough…you never tell me any cold words to me and try to get the last word from your mouth! Only I can," Said Marianne really serious.

"You look here miss-badie-mic-badie-pants, you can't tell me what to do! If you want to tell me what to do, then tell that to my rear end because I'm not listening to this non-sense!" Snapped Brandon in a harsh tone.

Marianne got so mad that she was about to punch him until Marietta and Sophie broke them a part.

"Let me at him!!! I want to kill him! Let me rip his head off I swear! He will regret that he said that for sure!" yelled Marianne struggling from Marietta's grip.

"I like to see you try and kick my butt." said Brandon crossing his arms.

Marianne was about to ram him in the chest once Marietta slipped her grip on Marianne, Lester came in and grabbed her from the chest and held her back with all his might.

"Enough you two! We don't have time for this non-sense! Halloween is tonight and you two need get your act together or I'll fix this my way!" yelled Sonar frustrated.

Marianne let go of Lester's grip and stormed off upstairs in her room slamming the door really hard not even caring if the door broke down. Mean while as everyone settled down, a little fly flew next to the team unseen. Making a small camera on its eye and zooming in on Sophie; seeing the slow progress of her arm slowly giving her scars from her hand, wrist, arm, elbow, and finally shoulder. In the villains' point of view they saw everything in the progress but weren't too eager about it.

"Dang! Why is it taking so long? It Gain full control until her boyfriend said something," said Jinx impatient.

"Hmm, maybe it still needs more negative energy, because when it gain control, it lost it," Said Fearal thinking.

"Then we'll strike when night time hits, when the kids come out for trick or treating; we strike the castle, take Sophie, and sink in our powers to her," said Bowser rubbing his scaly claws together.

"Alright, let's get ready," said Queen Slava having a scaly reptile grin.

"Whoa there everyone! Wait just a minute…" said Lava Volt Scar very unsure.

Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at him.

"What is it LV Scar?" asked Thunder Bolt Flash a little aggravated.

"Are we really going to sit up and waste all of our powers on this pointless freedom fighter that happen to have a demon inside of her? What if we fail like in all the other plans we have planed? What if they found a way to snap Sophie back to her normal self? Have you guys even thought of that while your add it?" asked Lava Volt Scar.

Everyone thought for a moment as the silence sets in the room. Queen Slava broke the silence after a long pause.

"You may be right LV Scar, you have a point there. But did you see how much damaged Sophie did to Marietta and Lester? She was inches, close to killing him instantly. Demons are stronger than a human or animal. And if we get this demon to come out and take over Sophie's body, he can stay in her forever and Sophie will be history!" said Fearal making a cruel grin.

Lava Volt Scar shook his head but he kept his head up just in case they happen to lose like always. (End of Chapter 2)
